Terms & Conditions
DEPOSIT: Please Note that this deposit is non-refundable. Once you have signed the quote form to proceed, paid the deposit & sent this form back to us, we then order all of the materials needed to build your Furniture. If for some unlikely reason we could not fulfill your order, we would refund your deposit in full.
TIME-FRAMES: We will give you an expected time-frame for receiving your Furniture. Please Note: If any delays were to occur, we will inform you as soon as possible.
MATERIAL REPLACMENT: If any materials become unavailable, we will suggest possible alternatives/substitute materials. If these alternatives/substitute materials are going to cost more than the original materials quoted, we will inform you. Castlefort Furniture reserves the right to add these extra unforeseen costs onto the quote. Quotations are valid for 30 days from date of issue.
PAYMENTS: Castlefort Furniture (The Seller) retains ownership of the sold goods until all payments have been paid in full by the Customer (You the Buyer). Furniture is to be paid for & picked up upon completion at the agreed upon time. Storing of Furniture will incur storage costs of $50 per week. If Castlefort Furniture delivers the Furniture, cash on delivery or cleared full payment must be received prior to delivery or before the delivery is concluded.
WARRANTY: Our Furniture has a 2-year Workmanship Warranty & 1-year Manufacturer’s Warranty for Metal Stool bases. Our Furniture is designed to be kept indoors or under adequate roofing cover out of the weather.
Weather damage is not covered under our Warranty.

TIMBER MOVEMENT: All Timber (being a natural product) will expand & contract with the Seasons. This is because of changes in humidity from the heat & the cold, which in turn affects the moisture content in the Timber. This change in moisture content causes Timber movement. This is unavoidable & some movement in the Timber of your Furniture (Including small cracking or splitting) is to be expected. This will simply add to the Rustic look of the Furniture & should not affect the structural integrity. If you feel there is an issue or defect with your Castlefort Furniture, please just send us an email or give us a call so we can help to rectify this issue.
STAIN FINISHES: Stain Furniture colour may vary from pictures shown on our Website or display Furniture. This is due to how many coats are applied & the absorption levels of different Timbers. Also, the screen resolution on your PC or Phone can make colours appear different.
REPAIRS: Any repairs are to be done at our Workshop & all freight to & from our Workshop for the Furniture item being repaired are to be paid by you the Customer. We will provide you with pricing for non-warranty repairs.
RETURNS POLICY: It is the Customer’s (You the buyer) responsibility to inspect goods before you purchase & if the Furniture is faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a suitable solution. If you change your mind & wish to return any Furniture, there is no refund, There is no legal requirement for Castlefort Furniture to issue a refund or a credit if you change your mind.
COPYRIGHT OF DESIGNS, DRAWINGS & PLANS: All designs, drawings & plans remain the Property of Castlefort Furniture (Unless a written arrangement has been made & signed by both parties giving ownership of the design/drawings/plans to the Buyer). Measurements shown on concept plans/drawings are plus or minus 20mm.
